Who is the best leader for your weight loss journey- and beyond? YOU! Leadership is about influencing people to achieve objectives. Who knows better about what your objectives are and how to motivate and influence you, than you?
Self leadership is the process by which you influence yourself to achieve your objectives. It’s a skill that combines self observation and self management to impact all aspects of your life. Self leaders are self motivated to take purposeful action. Self leaders know their intentions and values, know their strengths and abilities, and believe they can handle anything that comes their way. Self leaders take responsibility for their results and are accountable to themselves.
My role as your weight loss coach, is not to be your leader. It’s to teach you how to become your own leader. That’s why the program I offer is a permanent solution, rather than a “quick fix”. You will not be dependent on me or a program to maintain your results. You will become empowered to do this for yourself.
If you don’t have the skill of self leadership yet, please don’t be hard on yourself. Most of us have been taught to depend on others to tell us where we “should” go and how to get there.
