Learning To Make Lemonade- An Effective Weight Loss Strategy
After enduring several months of a pandemic, you may be reminding yourself that, “life isn’t a bowl of cherries.” That realization probably doesn’t inspire you to be the HERO YOU ARE, who creates amazing results in your life. It might leave you feeling more like a helpless victim of life’s painful circumstances.
The fact is, sometimes life hands us lemons. BUT, what if the lemons that life hands us are for our good? What if we’re equipped with amazing imagination and intelligence to learn how to make lemonade out of the lemons every single time. When I came to that realization for myself, I stopped wasting my energy on avoiding pain (i.e. overeating and other destructive behavior) and started looking for ways to make lemonade in every situation. This is how we become our own heroes in life.
So, instead of reaching for the chips or cupcakes when life throws you lemons, turn your focus towards how you can make lemonade. Use your imagination to picture the “best case” for yourself in any given situation and start creating that vision with your brilliant mind.
