Donuts Aren't "The Devil"

Are you used to thinking of food as “good/ bad”, “healthy/unhealthy”, “should/shouldn’t”, “righteous/ temptation” ??? Well, if you do, you’re not alone…and it’s our brain’s default to categorize things this way. Our primitive brain likes to simplify things for us with black/white thinking. Unfortunately, it doesn’t help us get to our weight loss goal and here’s why.

When we think of food in this way is actually creates resistance. When we resist, our desire grows. We might not eat the donuts, but it manifests somewhere else- maybe with other food, or maybe in other areas unrelated to food.

The solution? We can think of all food as “neutral”- neither good nor bad. Some food helps us create results we love and some food does not. We get to decide which foods work for us.

So, take your power back around donuts or any other food that doesn’t produce results you love. Donuts are not “the devil” and you’ll be able to see them and not think about them again when you let go of the resistance you’re creating with your mind.
