When someone becomes deliberate their actions are premeditated and calculated. They are willful. Their behavior becomes ELECTIVE. People who master deliberation follow rules because they choose to do so. They know the WHY behind the rule & it makes sense to them. They are fully aware of the consequences of their actions before they act.

Deliberate people use their own powers of conception, judgment, and inference. They don’t rely on others mental powers to guide their decisions. They’re able to reason about things that are problematic. They are clear about the nature of problems and the solutions. They are free in their choices, knowing they’re fully responsible for the outcomes of those choices.

Deliberate people do & say things on purpose. They’re cool. They let their emotions settle before they act. They don’t do things in haste or hurry. They take action with their goals in mind.

These are four easy steps that will empower you to become more deliberate in your actions:

  1. Practice pausing & visualizing the result of your impending action.

  2. Ask yourself if the pictured result is one that you truly want.

  3. Truly commit to the action Not fully committing to action is a roadblock and source of frustration for many people.

  4. Go ALL IN on the action you pictured to create what you truly want.
